so where do you all study?
i cant ever study in my room because its soooo distracting

It just depends. I used to have a neighbor that was really loud and sometimes I couldn't get anything accomplished. I've studied at the library, coffee shops, quiet restaurants, bookstores... whatever works for you. Luckily for me, my loud neighbor moved out in August and so I was able to study at home.

If you can listen to music while studying, put some headphones on and listen to your mp3... it works for some people.

I study at home with my three children ages 6,3, and 9 mths. Just kidding I study at library/study lounge at school.

To read and focus, I suggest the library, and take periodic breaks. When I was studying for the DATs, I went to Discount Auto Parts and bought some ear plugs that you roll up and you slide them into your ear canal, and then they expand! It worked for me, those things reduce noise up to 30 decibles. (later on I found out they sold them at Walgreens or CVS Pharmacy).

i like to study where alot of other people are studying really hard. So when I get lazy, all i do is look around at those nerds and I immediately went back to the books again. 😀

I do most of my studying at the Library. If not, I do it on my bed. I like to be able to take quick naps now and then 😛 I don't think I will be able to do that once in Dent School..

When I studied for my dat, I studied with two dental and one medical student. They kept me motivated, and made me feel lazy when I saw them studying for 8-10 hours at a time.
