The brush itself is painless but that doesn't mean you wouldn't need anesthetics for the drilling, right?

As I understand all it's doing is completing the etch step. I don't see whats so groundbreaking here, maybe I'm missing something.

From what I gathered from the video, it prepares the tooth surfaces for bonding. I assume tooth preparation is still done with a traditional hand piece. The video title and description is misleading.
