can i get in without a B.S degree. I have 3.65 GPA with 98 credit....is it possible?

no. just kidding, yes, that is, if you've completed all the prereqs.

Check with all the schools you want to apply to.. a lot of them actually require a degree of some sort

You can definitly get in without a bachelors degree. What matters most to the schools are the pre-reqs all completed and at least 90 credit hours (for most schools). Most of the schools don't specifically require a degree if you read carefully.

do your research and look at the various optometry schools' admissions websites or call them and inquire about their admissions requirements. also re-evaluate your current position and maybe give some thought to whether or not you want to complete your BSc, since you are pretty close with 98 credits. it may benefit you in the long run, if not academically but to allow you to mature another year as an individual and pick up some more experience, maybe outside of school that might eventually have you return as a stronger candidate for admission later.

You're a very stong candidate, base on the numbers, for any school that accepts students without a BS. 3.65 really is up there in the applicant pool, so as long as you have all the necessary pre-req's I'd go for it apply if you find a school you want to go to that accepts without a degree.

However, at this point in the year I think applications are closed for the class of 2012 at all the schools?
