Please describe your Maryland interview experience

Hello,
I am new to SDN and am a first generation college student, who frankly, was very lucky to recieve an interview to Maryland. My interview is next week and I am curious about others experiences. Like I said before, I am very excited about the interview and just looking for others opinions. Also, how much of an advantage is there in a pre- december interview at Maryland?

From talking to my friends at maryland, they said it was pretty chill. They show you around when you get there. then lunch. then you break up into your interview groups with 1 faculty and 1 student.

They said the interview is more like a conversation. no need to freak out. just be yourself.

a pre-december interview is very good btw. are you from md?

Yep born and raised and I currently attend UMBC which is about ten mnutes away. Thanks for the reply. I hear that a pre december interview is good for a lot of reasons, but there is no guarantees. Are you interviewing at Maryland as well?

University Maryland was the chillest interview for me so far. The faculty and students there are all extremely nice. 🙂
