I am struggling trying to find out how early decision works exactly.
So basically you apply to only one school for early decision and submit your application and if you are accepted then you have to go and if you are deferred or put on regular polling then you can apply to more schools but with an additional fee? did i catch that right? and what do they mean additional fee?

Sorry if my questions are scattered, just recently considered early decision but i' m afraid.

You got it! Applying early decision only allows you to send the app to one school. You wait until the school you submitted to makes a choice (accept, defer, reject). Assuming they reject or defer, you can apply to more schools via regular decision. The additional fees are the schools you apply during the "regular decision time".
