I am a current DPT student finishing my 1st year of graduate school and was interested if anyone knew of any good reads for physical therapy students. I was looking for book that would provide good insight for new grads or current students about evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. Due to the high volume of information thrown at current students, I feel information about these pertinent subjects can be forgotten when attempting to comprehend and learn so much information within the first year of DPT programs. Thus, any insight about good books that provide a systematic review of common physical therapy differential diagnosis that PTs will face along with possible treatment options would help current students retain/remember the information they previously learned and promote a better understanding of the material. Please help, thank you.

I would recommend studying from the books and the notes/lectures from your current classes. After graduating, I've found that it works well for me to utilize literature on a case by case basis as I treat each individual patient.

I'm not really sure why you would need yet another book. I'm assuming you have Magee already. That is a pretty comprehensive text regarding examination. I would agree with Five - during your clinical this summer, review pertinent chapters as you are able.
