Hey guys, I've been accepted to my top choice dental school (UIC) and I recently read their requirements for articulation just sent to me. It says that I need a C or above in all my classes. This past semester, I "somehow" managed to get a "C-" in one of my major classes. How bad will this effect my admission now? (I already sent in my deposit and acceptance letter).

please advise.
thanks so much in advance.

I think you need to address this issue with the admission director. Some schools take this very seriously and some will forgive it.

But I don't think anyone on SDN can answer this question better than the people who admitted you. Have a good reason.

I was in the same boat with NOVA. I found out their minimum 2.0 requirement over a "physics course" after I had already applied from AADSAS. Start looking at summer classes that offer your C- class at community colleges or your current university. Its your first choice so take the class. Heck maybe they can make an exception!
