Technology Please help, I think I have a virus...

My computer works fine. However, whenever I do a search (regardless of the search engine) all that comes up are links to other search engine sites, solicitors, etc. For example, I typed "boxing" into the Yahoo search box and came up with:

You should have a virus scanner like Norton or McAfee. If not you should download one then run a scan for viruses.

Also stop using Internet Explorer and downoad Mozilla or Firefox browsers.

Run adaware or spybot search and destroy. That will help a lot of major problems with malware.

Did you download some "free" software, such as Limewire, Kazaa, etc.? If so, then you agreed to adware when you installed the software.
