Hey..I have an interview at UABSO coming up very soon and I am really nervous about it!! does anybody have any advice or insight on what a typical interview day is like? Do i have to write an essay..etc? I really want this more than anything and I want my true colors to show..but I'm scared my nerves might get the best of me..Help!!🙁

I didnt apply/interview there, but through my interview experience they are really laid back.

they dont want you to be tense or stressed, and the interview is usually less than an hour and it goes by fast! after that you just get a tour of the school, a financial aid session, lunch and once in a while a curriculum overview.

no biggie!!

relax!

Hey, I interviewed in September. The interview day was laid back and everyone is super friendly. When you first arrive you go on a tour of the school with a current student. You then eat lunch with that student and get to ask any questions you might have. There were 3 other candidates that were interviewing the same day so we all got to talk during lunch too and it helps you relax! After lunch you go to your two interviews. One that is a one-on-one and one that is a panel style interview. I was way more nervous than I needed to be. Once I got in the interview I was fine and it was very laid back! I felt great about my interview day at UAB and im sure you will enjoy your time there too! Just relax!! Good luck 🙂
