I just finished my P.S and added all the courses that I have taken. I have not e-submitted it yet and I have not taken DAT yet. But I would like to e-submit it tonight or tomorrow....

My questions is....
I have no idea what to do with the supplemental information. For example, UConn says the following,

Send these materials directly to the dental schools At the Same Time you send AADSAS materials:

• Application fee $75
• Official DAT score

If it says "at the same time" you send AADSAS materials, does that mean I need to send a check of $75 to UConn like "NOW"? And this money is in addition to the money that I am paying for AADSAS application??

Yes, if it says to send at the same time as submitting, they'd appreciate it if you sent the supplemental fees when you submit your AADSAS. Even though they won't receive your hard copy application for a few weeks, it's good to send soon.

And yup, those supplemental fees are in addition to the AADSAS fees. This gets expensive, don't it?

O yea man. Last year I applied to 7 schools and total cost was 1300 bucks not including travel fees. I think including travel fees, dry cleaning, and everything else, I spent about 2000 dollars just getting in. Now comes time to pay tuition... 🙁

You pay the AADSAS fee once you hit e-submit (it will direct you to the page to pay your fee). You can pay this fee by credit card online. Additionally, you will have to write checks to schools (or online, depending on the school) for their own processing fee as well. For those that say to send it now, go ahead and write a check and mail it to them ASAP.

Thank you so much for all the replies guys. So basically, if I don't do well on DAT after paying the AADSAS fee and application fee for all the schools that I am applying, the money will just be a total waste?

Is it okay to e-submit even if I haven't taken DAT or should I submit it after taking DAT?

Go ahead and e-submit it now since you are already finished with it. Don't wait until you take your DAT.
