can somebody tell me if Mandibular second premolar has a transversr ridge as it does in mandibular first premolar?

I think it varies. "Y" shape doesn't have transwers ridge.

yes, you're right. But how about 2nd premolar with two cusps(buccal and lingual)? something like U or H shape....

if it is two cusped then i think it will have but havent studied any where
