This is a QR question from ADA sample:

The answer is supposed to be 42, but I'm getting 48.5...please help.

What is the maximum number of 3-inch squares that can be cut from a 19x23 inch tin plate?

Not sure this is the best place to post this kind of thread (I'd post future DAT-related questions in the DAT forums), but:

19/3=6 and some change

23/3=7 and some change

Since they're asking how many 3x3 square you can make, you forget about the change.

6x7=42
