HI GUYS I AM GETTING SICK WORRIED, CANT FOCUS ON ANYTHING. PLEASE HELP

I have a B.S from Melbourne Australia major IMMUNOLOGY. over all gpa was 2.8. I was working 30 hours a week while pursuing my career , hence low GPA. I passed all the courses and WES evaluated my degree to be equivalent to a US 4 year degree. graduated in 07.

I completed PRE dental courses from Rutgers University and maintained 3.5 science GPA. I also took general microbiology and systems physiology. Currently I am taking Biochem and Psychology and working at a bank as a teller. I private tutored chemistry and math at college.

My DAT scores AA:20 TS:21 PA:19 lowest was QR:17

I am an artist, I ve sketched and painted all my life. pretty dexterous. my application was competed in first week of september.

I have shadowing and volunteering experiences.



what are my chances guys??? please help. I havent heard from any schools yet. I am a new jersey resident.

You are not alone- I also completed my app the first week of sept. I havent received any interviews yet. I personally dont think your citation is a big deal, but better not mention it to d-schools to be on the safe side

I have one ticket for urinating in public, its not a public misdeamenor but a disorderly conduct. paid $35 and case is closed. never had to go to a court.

what are my chances guys??? please help. I havent heard from any schools yet. I am a new jersey resident.

You submitted your application very late in the cycle. Thus, it is normal to not hear anything from dental schools in October. Be patient! You might hear back within Nov. 2011 till March 2012.

There's your problem. You're a late applicant and you're behind huge stacks that haven't been reviewed yet. Don't expect any emails in October.

On a serious note, you're an international student with low 2.8 GPA. 2.8 is very difficult for U.S. students to overcome and nearly impossible for an int'l applicant. I think your best bet is to attend dental school in Australia.

I think you are being little immature here. I m sure most of us male students have peed in public in our lives. I happen to be the unlucky one. I m not an international student and don't worry I even used a hand sanitizer after peeing in public. It wasn't like I was drunk or anything.

I don't think it matters that much. I recommend getting a background check report first and see if this appears there. Since you are working in the bank then you should be fine.

If it doesn't show on your criminal/public record, then why did you even mention it? That's pretty dumb lol.

Your late app is hurting you... but what is your current cGPA and sGPA?

If it is still sub 3.0, then that is what is really killing your app. You need to definately be doing some post bac work right now to bring up that GPA.

Also... even though your degree from Australia is equivalent... i wonder if it is still a red flag on your application?

Aadsas did not include my gpa from Australia. They calculated the gps from states. And the pcb gpa is 3.5
