Are there two LOR forms?

When I asked professors/optometrist to write LORs, I gave them my schools pre-health recommendation form (because we have a pre-health committee), but then when I started to fill out the Optomcas Letter of Rec. tab, I realized they also contact the professors and have their own LOR form? Do I have to contact my recommenders again?

Please help... 🙁 This is the only thing I have left to do on OptomCAS.

Also....what if your essay on OptomCAS is a little more than the characters they want? (mines 4600...max is 4500)

OptomCas will not let you turn in a personal statement that is more than 4500 characters so you will have to shorten it.
For the LOR, just let the recommenders know that they will get an email from OptomCas with a link to copy and paste the letter. There will also be 8 multiple choice questions on your personality. Most people who have written LOR before won't be surprised as this is pretty standard. Don't worry!
