I just got letters from UOP and BU asking me to pay second fee before the review my application. Howevr, my stats are not really competitive (TS:20/AA:18/ PA:18 with 15 on RC and GPA 3.86 on both cum and sci). Should I send them the money? or just withdraw my application from them and spend money on the school that I have more chance? Thank you so much for your time!

I wouldn't withdraw your application because the whole point of applying somewhere is to put yourself out there and let the school be the judge of how competitive you are and what you could bring to their school. I know you are worried about the money, but if you don't send in the money then you are wasting the money you already spent apllying there in the first place.

With that being said, no one here knows your financial status, and if you are truly in a financial bind, then that is a personal decision you will have to make. But, don't make that decision just because you don't think your scores are competitive. Let the schools decide. Good luck!🙂

Why did you apply to those schools in the first place if you have no desire to follow through? I say, if you feel as though you aren't as competitive as another applicant, you should should apply to more schools to increase your chances of getting an acceptance.

Besides, your stats are pretty darn good. The only thing is that UOP has some pretty high cutoffs for DAT scores and your 15 sticks out like a sore thumb. You should call them and ask if they'll even look at your application given your scores. For BU, definitely send in those checks.

Oh and again... you still have some pretty darn good stats. 😛

Thank you for helping me make my decision! Ok! I will send my check right away to BU, but UOP , I need to ask them.
I applied to those schools before taking DAT, and that's why I don't want to waste my money any more.
