Hello people..
I am about to apply in this upcoming cycle for 2009 admission.

First of all, I live in New York and I do not want to go to school far away. At the same time, I do not want to spend a lot of money for applying.

Therefore, I think I am going to apply to 7 schools around NY...like

Upenn, Tufts, BU, NYU, Columbia, Stony Brook, and Buffalo.

My overall GPA is 3.67 and Science GPA is 3.76

My DAT scores are as following:

AA 22
TS 22
PAT 24

Bio 21
Chem 21
Orgo 26
Reading 18
QR 22

Like many other applicants, I have some experiences in dentistry, extracurricular activities, work expereinces, and etc.

Now, my questions is.......since getting into a D-school is very compatitive, should I apply to more schools to be safe? Or am I going to be OK to get into one of those schools above?

Please, help me with that question people...
THx😀

I think you got it bro, that seems like enough for you to land a place somewhere. Your killer AA doesn't hurt either. Wouldn't worry too much about getting in 2009 cycle.

no chance. I'd pick another career.

j/k you're fine.

you didn't need to start this thread just to brag. your thread helps NO ONE.

Your scores are good. You should be able to get into most of the schools you listed. You should add New Jersey...its close to New York and I heard its not too hard to get into. Good luck! 🙂
