My PS is embarrassing me. It seems so contrived and fake and in no way expresses my personality. I'm sick of it though so want to finish it and submit it tonight. Would someone here be willing to read it and make a comment or two? Preferably someone in residency who has already been through the process. I'd be grateful.

Happy to look, but I doubt I would get back to you by tonight...despite being in a nice residency, I DO have other things to do...if you have a couple of days I will. PM it to me or send me your email address if you like.

Don't stress too much about it though - people always have poor impressions of their own personal statements because they always seem contrived to the writer. It's tough to brag about yourself without trying to seem as though you are not bragging. Don't worry too much about it not expressing your personality. That's what the interview is for.
