hey guys, i know most ppl already asked the same thing, so i'm sorry for re-asking the same questions..
i took dat last week and my score was very low, esp for PAT while others were around 17-20
so far i only use kaplan, and my q will be what would be a good book to improve my PAT as well as other sciences (eps bio)
and where can i get the book?
thanks guys for the help
I really appreciate it

good luck to everyone.. *and myself*

So you took your actual DAT already? anyway, for bio, get schuams bio review, a little overkill but it will overprepare you nonetheless. restudy kaplan, cuz despite others say...is pretty good. get topscore and achiever to help you on timing, experience, and PAT ( especially achiever). gl.

get topscore and dat achiever for PAT as well as Barrons (for PAT ONLY!). DAT Destroyer is great for the sciences. Schaums is pretty in depth for bio but is good as a supplement. Also back up everything with school textbooks.

There, I just told you to go spend $300 in study materials. Good luck!

word on the street is that Examkrackers MCAT Bio is also really helpful

Thanks for the help!! 🙂

Schuams can be found at your local barnes and noble or borders books. i did not use examkrackers or ap bio books but i hear they are pretty good too. i was always pretty good at the PAT, most of my diagnostic/practice scores were around 23. are you having trouble visualizing the figures? if you are, after each problem really focus on visualizing the figure. this goes for keyhole, TFE and pattern formation. for pattern, try cutting out figures that your having trouble visualizing (thats what i did and it helped me a lot). During practice, if you can't visualize something, dont worry, use POE. look at the views they give you and see how many references lines there should be and eliminate the wrong choices. for keyhole, practice to see what is wrong about the choices instead of whats right...this will eliminate faulty answers. angle ranking, looking at all the angles at once...doing so will usually allow you to see which is the biggest and smallest or at least one of those. from there on, use your eyes to complete a 180 degree angle. look at your answer choices to get an idea of which answers to compare, deduction is half the battle here. as for the other 2 sections, just use kaplan strategy. gl.
