and tell me what you think? I have taken Phys with Calc at a CC before, but now Im going to just take General Physics at a 4 year school

Fall
General Biology I
General Chemistry 1
Calculus

Spring
General Bio 2
General Chem 2
Gen Physics 1
A & P 1

Summer
Organic Chem 1
Gen Physics 2
A & P 2

Fall
Organic 2
Biochemistry
Microbiology
Genetics

Im taking all these classes as a postbac student in order to get into med school. Do you think this schedule will show ad-coms that I can handle touch science courses?

Well it looks good ..except for the summer schedule.

I don't know how it is at your school, but at mine, a summer session is HALF the time of a normal quarter...so right around six weeks.

Is your summer a full term or half? To take those 3 classes during the summer seems...challenging to say the least.

Wow, those are a lot of science classes in a very short period of time 😱 . Especially your last Fall term written with Orgo 2, Biochem, Microbio, and whatever the other one was. It could be overwhelming. Remember the grades you get in each class is more important then when you take them. Try putting easy filler classes.

no way you can't have domo in your avatar too!!! lol 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎

I don't know about that summer schedule. You need to work hard in the summer, and keep pace. I have taken 2 sciences in summer but never 3!!
The semester looks fine.

Ditch the summer A&P. The rest could be doable if the physics will be familiar to you and if your math skills are sharp.

On second thought, I would also take something out of the second fall semester(with organic) Organic is a cake walk, if you force yourself to learn it. It does take up a ton of mental energy though. If it were 3 or 4 bio classes I would say go ahead, or even more chem (already being exposed) but for your first general organic class I would say no way!! Microbio is easy, but it seemed to be a TON of memorization (which takes up a lot of time)
PS Biochem and Organic II are a very NICE combination. I felt like it made the other that much easier. I highly advise keeping those two together🙂 Maybe take genetics out of there, bc it requires more thinking than micro in my opinion.
