I think in order to access the pre-dent forum on SDN, it should be required to make a pre-dent profile. I understand that some people who peruse through these forums may not even be in college yet, but it would be nice to have a more accurate depiction compared to what it is right now. Don't get me wrong though - it is VERY useful, but it truly represents probably 2-5% of dental applicants.

I agree! At least there should be a sticky explaining how to make a pre-dents account and how to link it to one's sdn profile. I've seen many people who have pre-dents accounts but don't link them to their sdn profile..

might not be a good idea... w/ the data of may be ~3% that predents.com represent right now which is some what trust-able data.
But if you make it a requirement you know whats going to happen right, people are going to enter random numbers on predents... then that ~3% data will not be "somewhat" trust-able anymore

All you have to do is sign in to SDN...then click "My Account" at the top left of the page...then click "Edit Your Details" and enter your predents ID # in the correct box.

You certainly have a point... and that's the last thing we need. I just the threw the idea out there bc we need some way to get all these people to make "honest" predents profiles. Or perhaps we could somehow get the ADA to link the DAT with predents so your score goes straight to the website via your username. I know this would break privacy/confidentiality laws, but it would ensure the accuracy/honesty of at least DAT scores.
There has got to be a way to get everyone on SDN to have a predents profile and to ensure that all profiles are accurate/honest...
