Hi, there!
I've been searching online to see if there's a # of credit and lab requirement for Microbiology prereq. w/o success.
UW SoD & Micro Dept told me that they look at the contents and not the course number and as long as it is taken at an accredited college, it should be acceptable.
But the problem is, I'm not sure about the remaining 56 dental schools in the country. Does anyone know if 1. Micro must be accompanied by a lab, 2. there is a minimum # of credit for it to be acceptable, 3. If an online course (semester) would satisfy most schools' requirements?
I plan on taking it online with BYU....one of the dentists I job-shadowed took it there over 10 yrs ago and recommended it.
