your best source of info will be the program's and hospital's websites. if it's a small, community-based program with a lot of IMGs, don't hold your breath waiting for one of their residents to post here. i can tell you, as an american senior, that we're advised to be very leery of such programs because there is a reputation that such programs are mainly looking for low-cost bodies to staff their wards and that teaching is a minimal priority compared to what's available at larger, academic-based programs. we're told this is the case in pretty much all specialties, but especially internal medicine and pediatrics. my point is that you need to try to determine for yourself what type of program this is by talking to as many residents and faculty as you can on interview day. good luck.
