Is anyone able to talk hard numbers and percentiles for PMR-Pain salary? Anyone lurking started their own practice / partnered with a group / joined a group able to give any insight? Open to PMs of course.

Not 100% sure, but i think PMR/Pain at TPMG pays the same as PMR. It is possible they could give you a little more since there is an additional year of education, but it would not be a different salary than a spine fellowship additional year.

Definitely a big difference between PM&R vs. PM&R/Pain. Not only because of the extra year of fellowship but the scope of practice. Typically, PM&R alone do inpatient or MSK outpatient, etc while as PM&R/Pain do the same procedures and have the same set up as Anesthesia/Pain. It is reflected in the MGMA salary numbers as well as the poster above posted. MGMA Median for PM&R typically ~300k while MGMA Median for PM&R/Pain typically ~450k

Edit: Sorry I just realized you are comparing PM&R/Pain with PM&R/Spine, in which case I am not too sure how much the salary numbers between those two differ
