So, we have this infamous mnemonic but I am confused as to what nerve, by name, is responsible for the "shoot" part. I thought that peudental n is a somatic nerve. So, is S really stands for Sympathetic or Somatic? Please help. Thanks.

i think emission is sympathetic (hypogastric) where the fluid goes into the prostate and the ejaculation (pudendal) is when it gets expelled by the somatic nerve

what is the difference between ejaculation and emission then? (serious question)
This thread feels like the weird part of youtube. Mildly intriguing but kinda weird 😛

I think ejaculation and emission are one but the SNS controls more of the filling and mixing of seminal fluid in the prostate, and the somatic makes the penis expel everything.
