Updated survey of race and gender in medical school combined program enrollees. With the great majority of accepted students in combined medical programs appearing to be of South Asian descent, one can surmise that: a) admission is race blind, b) South Asian students are smart (nature & nurture), and c) South Asian students have a strong record of doing well.
Meritocracy ultimately benefits medicine and improves patient care.
Please participate in this poll to confirm these "facts" and voice your opinion if you agree/disagree with the assumptions. Thanks.

...Or the fact that more of the south asian (Indian, Pakistani etc...) community apply, and therefore there is higher admission rate.

I'm white, and in a combined program. It seems that the majority of people who applied to my program were of south asian descent. You may want to think about that in your data.

You need to vote: Caucasian and male (I presumed).
Thanks for your participation.

Second this.

Surprising mid poll analysis:
1. Proportion of South Asians is not overwhelming, as originally surmised. Only 3 out of a pool of 17 respondents so far.
2. People are not listing their gender. 17 respondents, but only 8 provided gender.
3. Please answer these last questions, for the poll to be useful and perhaps, more scientific (?).

Your poll and your reading of your poll has a few problems. First you ask race and only listed a few races, yet did not leave an other option. Second, you seem interested in sexuality yet only ask about LGBT. No option for straight or for that matter asexual. Third, you did a straight count without looking at who responded what. People selected multiple races in some cases while no race in other cases.

Hey,
Thanks for noting the flaws in the survey. I had the LGBT option for those who believe this is relevant to who they are; and perhaps, there may be more peer support. The OTHER is a more serious omission, since we are becoming a more multiracial society/culture. By the way, congratulations on your awesome University of Cincinnati combined program. hahaha
