Vote: Should I start preparing for Step I over Xmas break ???

I'm wondering if I should be enjoying this last break, or working my ass off. Still another week+ left to get something done...

Before winter break started I told myself that I was gonna study for the boards during break. But now that I am home and enjoying my time off, there is no way I am gonna study.

I'm a lot like Inquisitive here. I had a pretty strict schedule laid out when break started, but once I got home... I turned into a couch potato.

I did manage to pick up the rest of my review books (Lippincott Bchm, HY Behave, HY Embryo, Robbins review q's and the nifty Robbins Atlas... ugh, I am so going overkill with this stuff...) plus I've listened to Goljan every now and then. 😛

too early, stop being a tool. 4 weeks (which I think UCD still gives) is not only plenty...It's TOO MUCH if you have half a brain. You can crack 240 by a wide margin, relax.

I am a "tool" osteopathic student. We only know how to mix snake oils, crack backs, and spread magic fairy dust. I am starting to study now:laugh: for USMLE step 1.

I really hope I will get to hold a stethoscope by 4th year😳

Ok, I've made an executive decision. My family and this time off are too important for me to ruin this time by studying. Which means, that when I get back, it's on like donkey kong. I'm casually reading my FA at night, which is pretty unproductive - but it puts me at ease occasionally. I just don't think that it's worth losing this precious time with my family, my fiance and his family, for some extra hours with goljan...

to those that have the time, patience and commitment to study during their break, hats off....but for now... i'm wrapping gifts, reading to my nephew, spending time with mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law and my best friend!!
