1. what is the source of oxygen in O2 in photosynthesis?
2. Why are there noncylic AND cyclic electron flow in photosynthesis?
3. What is the primary CO2 acceptor in dark reaction?
4. In what type of cells does most of the photosynthesis occur in plants?

I made these up. See if you know the answers to them.

H2O

The cyclic reaction is similar to that of the non-cyclic, but differs in the form that it only generates ATP and no reduced NADP (NADPH) is created.

3. What is the primary CO2 acceptor in dark reaction?

In the dark reaction, the enzyme RuBisCO captures CO2

mesophyll

hey, ure done wit DAT. you cant answer it!!. keke jp. they are all right except the second question doesnt ask for the difference but why 2 diff. processes exist.

ok, I let others answer Q#2 😉

P.S. I think you'll do well on the DAT.

I think two different processes exist b/c ATP is the "limiting reagent" - it gets used a lot faster in the Dark Calvin Cycle than NADPH, therefore, Cyclic Flow makes up the difference.

Correct 👍

5. What decides whether a plant will undergo calvin-benson cycle or photorespiration?

Nobody answered 😉

Hint:
photorespiration usually occurs when oxygen levels are high:
RuBP + O2 → Phosphoglycolate + 3-Phosphoglycerate
