Starting with a new group and need to order a positioning pillow for cervical interlaminars.

Any recommendations for particular products or resources from which to purchase?

Thanks

There is only one option, and its great:

http://www.oakworksmed.com/spine-positioning-system.asp?cat=37

This thing in awesome for any cervical procedure. I've used one for over two years.

I love my Oakworks, but the teeth on the clamps that hold positions are starting to wear, might need to get it looked at/replaced.

Some patients - just a few - find it uncomfortable. Most who have had spinal procedures without it prefer it, IME.

The Oakworks positioner was recently redesigned with a different clamp mechanism; it is much more durable. You might want to look into that. I've used the 1st gen and 2nd gen clamps...2nd gen much more solid.

The positioner was designed by Paul Dreyfuss (I don't know if he designed it 100% or with other docs).

Believe it or not, sitting with hanging drop, shoot the dye cross table lateral at C6 maybe C5 but no higher Spinolaminar line easy to see. Southern women tend to be biggg breasted and it is often easier to move those puppies out of the way from the sitting position. Shoulders out of the way most of the time, 17 years and counting
