Undergrad at Rutgers GPA: 2.5 major in Economics/Chinese
Yes, it was a 4 year party for me.

But I'm about to finish my prerequisite dental science classes with a 4.0. Overall though, it does not raise my GPA to a level that is competitive among the majority.

Of course I know I have to get the highest DAT score I can, but what is the average these days? What should I get to be competitive.

What schools do I have a higher chance to get into? I'm based in Florida now so I would like to go to Nova or UF.

check out schools with low GPA averages. There are posts with averages for all GPAs and DATs for every school, just search for it. What exactly is your GPA and then your Science GPA (sGPA) if you have a 3.5+ science GPA that will stand out. Also you can talk about it in your Personal statement to get their minds of of the 2.7 or whatever you have.. I know this will be tough but if you can knock out 22+'s on the DAT it will be hard to look past you with that and 3.5+ sGPA (hopefully you didn't screw up your Bio 101 and Chem 101 Phys 101 Calc etc. which may have been gen ed at rutgers..

More to come once you give some more info.. are you Fla resident?? Nova may be easier bc its newer? who knows check the stats
