Ok guys,

so i and many other pre-meds have often wondered whether students should submit their applications after the completion of summer courses they are planning on repeating or if they should wait till the class finishes.

I just discovered that, theres an option of RNY or Repeat/Not yet completed.

I guess what it does is it calculates your gpa as if you never took that specific class.

For example if you took chem 1 and 2 and got a C and A respectively, ur sgpa will be a 3.0, but if you plan on repeating chem 2 and indicate that with the RNY option, than the sgpa you will submit will be a 4.0.

Does anyone know any specifics about this option. I'm not sure if i'm understanding it right but when I was playing around with it thats what I got.

It says Repeat/Not Yet Completed

Not Plan To Repeat

I used it for a class I was in the process of taking but I hadn't taken the final ... hence hadn't gotten a grade for it. I think that's what the option is for. Not for the classes you plan to take.

You can still use it for summer courses. If you use this option though you MUST repeat the course and you must already be enrolled in it. ie repeating during summer, already enrolled and already shows up as enrolled on transcript.
