possible changes to the Step 1

Has anyone heard rumors of a potential change to the step 1 to a "pass/fail" grading system? I overheard this from a medical student who talked to a residency director. If this does happen, would anyone like to comment on what the implications (good and bad) would be to the students? to the residency programs? thanks.

ha, not happening. sure would make our lives easier, but we'de probably all learn a lot less. not good for pt's.
