Is it possible for me to bring my MCAT score from a 23 to a 30 in one and a half months? If so how would you suggest studying for it or should I just push back to test date another month?

Depends. If you have not started studying yet, hell yeah! On the other hand, if you have been eye-ball deep in MCAT materials for the past 4 months, no.

Personally, I went from a 31 to a 37 in 2 months with only part time studying.

Yes.

I think that it is much easier to rise from low 20's to a 30 than it is to raise from a 30 to say a 35.

At a 23 you have some content deficiencies. Fix them now, and your score will jump.

Unless you're killing sciences and VR is holding you back. Thats a different story.

What he said. I got a 23 even though I was getting 30s on the practice exams. My problem was getting areas of the test I happened to be weak in and so I freaked out (got a 9 on verbal).

You can do it with this much time.
