Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to do core clerkships in the US as an IMG. I'm not sure if it is relevant, but the medical school is a private school in India. Thanks!

US students do their cores in 3rd year and electives in the 4th. However when IMGs apply for clerkships, a lot of them do get spots in core specialties like IM/Peds/Surgery. It all depends on the availability of spots in the hospital you are applying to. If not, aim for electives within your field of interest.
