Hi, everyone. I have what I think might be a vey stupid question, but I'm worried so I need to ask.
I'm taking microbiology this semester, and would be getting a high A had I not missed out on turning in an online quiz due to a scheduling mistake. As a result, it's looking like I might get a B or B+ for this class. I'm really disappointed with this grade, because I've never gotten such a score in a science class before.
I'm asking because I know that dental schools can rescind your offer of acceptance if you don't maintain past performance standards. I've gotten, and I don't like to toot my own horn, a 4.2 for the past three semesters. With this B, I could be looking at around 3.75 (4.0 scale). I have friends who get B's, and I know it's not that big of a deal really, but it's such a difference in GPAs that I'm concerned that a 0.5 drop may raise some eyebrows from my school. It's my in-state school, and I'm worried they may drop me. Am I being absolutely paranoid, or am I going to be just fine?
