As you might have guessed from the title, I've been accepted and I have been recently thinking about dropping my one year post bac (I've already done a semester and performed well). I would instead like to read ahead on first year d-school curriculum at my own pace and work more than part time while saving myself more tuition payments. Should I quit? Is this frowned upon by adcoms? Thank you 🙂

Only by calling up the school will you find an answer.

I'm almost sure that most schools won't let you drop. They accepted you on the condition that you successfully complete your program.

That's actually not quite true. If he's a post-bac and he already has a bachelors, some schools don't really care too much if you drop as long as it's not pre-reqs. Every school has a different policy on this though. Call the school and ask, that's your best bet.

I believe if it's an official pecial masters program, they won't let you drop. If it's just some random post-bac classes you signed up for, they might let you drop. Once again, call and ask.
