Post Bac GPA clarification

Is post bac GPA calculated as one's new cumulative GPA (including bac and post bac coursework).

Or is post bac GPA only a cumulative GPA of classes taken AFTER graduating with a bachelors?

From what i understand there are 3 GPA's as explained to me by a dental school admissions rep. 1 is ur undergraduate 2 is your post graduate work in your case ur post-bac and 3 is ure cumulative from all the junk u have done after high school so i assume ure post bac and ur undergrad and CC's if you have any.

It's actually both. AADSAS presents your GPA cumulatively as well as broken down by year in school (and post-bacc), institution, and science vs non-science.

AADSAS calculates your GPA and reports it in a number of ways:

•BCP GPA: All undergraduate courses identified on your transcript as Biology, Chemistry and Physics are used in computing this GPA.

•Science GPA: All undergraduate courses identified on your transcript as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math and Other Science is used in computing this GPA.

•Non-science GPA: All undergraduate courses not used in calculating the Science GPA are used to compute this GPA.

•Undergraduate GPA: All courses for which undergraduate credit is received are used in computing this GPA.

•Graduate GPA: All courses for which graduate credit is received are used in computing this GPA.

•Overall GPA: All courses-both undergraduate and graduate- are used to compute this GPA. (For most dental school applicants who have not completed graduate courses, the overall GPA is the same as the Undergraduate GPA).

•College/University GPA's: GPA's are reported for each college/university you have attended.

No overall science GPA? So I guess you cannot incorporate your graduate science scores into your sGPA and bcpGPA? Can anyone confirm this?

There is an overall sGPA and bcpGPA with undergrad and grad classes. I have this cumulative GPA on my AADSAS, so I figure that's pretty good confirmation.
