I had a post-bac interview 6 days ago. It only just occurred to me that it'd be a good idea to send an email thanking them. Questions: 1) do people normally send thank you notes for post-bac interviews? and 2) is it advisable to send the email so late (it's been 6 days since my interview).

Trust your gut.

Can't hurt, though I'm sure it's insignificant one way or the other.

(Or perhaps they have a checkbox next to your name, marking if you sent a thank you email or not...😏)

I dont think its necessary IMO.

People say to do it for med school, I didnt do a single one and got accepted everywhere I interviewed.

It certainly doesn't hurt but I dont think its necessary

It's a nice way to remind people about you, just make sure you don't hurt yourself with your note. Address it to the correct person at the corrsct institution, spell their name right, discuss something that you talked about in the interview.
