Hey Everyone,
I thought I had posted a thread about this yesterday, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I have decided I am going to apply for a post bacc or masters program. I want to do something that is going to really help me get accepted in dental school. I found a thread on here suggesting a few areas of study, and I am in the process of applying to Midwestern in Arizona for their MA in biomedical Sciences. I was hoping all of you who are experienced in this area could 1.give me ideas of what paths to take that WILL BE beneficial to me when it becomes time to apply again, and 2. give me a program that I don't need to take the GRE for/ will not take a significant amount of time to complete (big bang for the buck type deal). I find biomedical sciences to be really interesting, I just want to know if that is what I should pursue to benefit me. I was also considering a Biomaterials MS at university of buffalo, but I am not very enthusiastic about that one.
Some background about me:
I have been aiming for dental school since 10th grade in high school. I have a 3.3 GPA and an 18 on the DAT 23 PAT. I am going to start studying to retake the DAT very very soon, but I wanted to fire off some applications beforehand. I am aiming to get into school on the next cycle, and if that fails, at least to be in school somewhere so I can be deemed a 'serious student' by application committees.
I am essentially looking to apply in the next few days, please let me know! -Dave
