I need your opinion everybody! I'm trying to decide which graduate program to do, a UPENN post-bac in special science (Upper level science classes), an Indiana University Masters in Biology, or a Boston University Masters in Medical Science with concentration in Oral Health which I am listed as #1 on the waitlist...here are my questions:

---Do you think that dental schools give preference to somebody with a masters degree over somebody doing a post-bac, even if it is at UPENN?

---How long should I wait for the Boston University program, which I am waitlisted for, to contact me? In my opinion, it is the best program to funnel me into dental school, but they said that they could wait until the day before classes start to tell me that I'm accepted.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I personnaly did a post bacc. A masters will not change your undergrad GPA but a post bacc will. If you need a little boost in your science gpa to get to a 3.0 or higher do a post bacc. If your science gpa is embarrasing and will not get close to breaking a 3.0 then do the masters and kick butt to show that you can handle advanced science classes.
