Post-Bac programs and Med school

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
So should I take it that these programs do not actually exist?

They don't exist - unless you're talking about linkage programs, which do. But its not guaranteed that you'll get a linkage (though if you go to a place like Goucher, you can be pretty much guaranteed). You'll still have to take the MCATs and such - but it takes the whole application process and lag year out of the equation.

The top formal programs will usually have some linkages that are essentially guaranteed for anyone who is able to get in the program (BM, Scripps, Goucher)

Actually they do exits. Wake Forest and the associated medical schools of new york offer guarnteed admission if you fulfill the requirements of the program.

I just spoke today with Wake Forest...the program is very competitive, but I think is worth a try...if anybody knows another good program let me know...😉

I go to Wake and there are people of all backgrounds in the program.
