Post-Bacc at University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine

I recently just got an interview invite for their post-bacc program! Does anyone have details about the program (friends/family who have completed it, etc)? All I know is that there are 5 spots for dental students and another 5 spots for med students. I saw that for the med students, if they complete the program with the requirements they will have a " guaranteed admission". Does this apply for dental too?

As far as I know (atleast when i applied for it in 2017), if you completed it and met the requirement, you will get gauranteed admission.

I have a friend that completed it last year and is current in her first year of dental school. You are guaranteed admissions upon successful completion. You will go through the whole application process like everyone else but ultimately if you do fine on the interview you are in

Thanks for the info! If I get into the post-bacc for this year, do I apply for the 2019-20 cycle so once I complete the post-bacc with successful completion, I’ll be able to attend the dental school?

You will be able to start dental school Fall 2020

I was under the impression that if you finish the program and met their requirements, you get a gurantee seat. I didnt know you have to go through the whole application process and interview again.

You get a reserved seat. You still need to do at least average on the interview
