I'd do some soul searching about why you still want to go into medicine. I've always considered becoming a physician to be a calling. Lots of people have thought about becoming a doctor but that's not the only good, rewarding job out there. Do you think you have a future in your current career? And if so, is med school worth throwing that away?
Don't bother going to a Caribbean school, it was a viable option for a time but that's not really the case anymore.
Good luck with whatever you choose. And just so you know, you're not alone in feeling some early burn out. I've felt it too, but then I imagine the feeling of getting my first acceptance, and that keeps me going.
A) don’t go to a foreign medical school. You might be a doctor by name but you won’t be a doctor in practice.
B) I forgot who originally said this, but you will never always be motivated, learn to be disciplined.
