anyone else doing a post-bacc program to go to dental school? are there certain programs that are better than others in accommodating students who are pursuing dental school afterwards? is there such a thing as linkage programs/agreements between post-bacc programs and dental schools as there are with certain med schools? finally, hehe, is there a glide year with dental schools as there is with most med schools, or can you immediately begin dental school after the post-bacc after your DAT and such are completed? thanks very much! 😀

Creighton Dental has a post-bacc for disadvantaged applicants with no glide year. I don't know of any other dental post-bacc, but I know that EVMS advertises on their site that med masters can help with dental school admissions.

I applied to a couple programs: UPenn, Duquesne, and Loma Linda

It's pretty difficult finding a program that's designated for students trying to boost their statistics and GPA, esp for dental school applicants. FOr the most part, most pre-medical science postbacc programs allow pre-dental students to apply, and some actually have bio-dental programs, like Loma Linda. I would just ifnd the schools that have GPA-boosting programs and ask if they accept pre-dental students.
