Hey,

I was wondering if you guys could recommend any post-bacc/special master's programs for a pre-dental student. I am trying to enhance my science gpa and reapply to dental schools.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I like UMDNJ's program, but NJDS won't take your master's into account until you complete the program, so there's no chance of completing it in one year and then going to their dental school without a year off if that's what you're thinking. On the other hand, just being in that master's program got me a couple of interviews from other schools this year so I can't complain. Still waiting on the acceptances though.

Depends on where you are and where you want to go. If you're in the Western region, have heard good things about Mills College and SFSU for dental.

Also depends on what classes you have taken/have left to take. Some programs don't offer all the upper div science classes that you might want to take, like immunology, pharmacology, etc.

The easiest way is to RESEARCH programs and find the ones that accept DAT scores for admission and not just MCAT like a lot of program. There are a ton of links in this forum with that info...

Bman, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but could you please post some of the links you speak of?

Thanks!
