I was in the Post-Baccalaureate Program at UCSF (one-year). It's a little different because it's designed for people who have pretty much fulfilled the pre-med requirements but need a little boost in their GPA and MCAT scores (so they train students for MCAT and students then take undergrad science courses at SF state), and some support in applying to med school. You also get a lot of exposure to the medical community at UCSF and attend colloquia regarding various topics in medicine. I've also met a lot of students at SFSU who are doing their "own Post-Bac program"- that is, they're taking classes on their own without a structured program. What are you thinking of doing?
