Hi all,

Does anybody have any recommendations for affordable (aka cheap!) universitives/colleges that offer biology pre-req classes in the DC area? i've heard of georgetown, but i'm not really looking for such a structured curriculum since i plan to apply to dental school. Also since i was a chem major, i've taken all the pre-reqs except biology.

any recommendations for places to take biology pre-reqs such as anatomy&physiology, histology, microbiology, etc?

thanks!

Maryland's Science in the Evening program would work

VCU is in richmond (few hours away from DC) and costs around 4000 a semester for a full load in state. UVA (charlottesville Va) and EVMS (norfolk) also have post-bac programs (2-3 hours away). In terms of in DC you are looking at Georgetown, George washington, George Mason and American.

I know American has a post-bac program, but since they dont have a linked med school I would advise against it. Georgetown is expensive. Not to sure about GW or GMU. Howard also has a med school (D.O. I think) but to tell you the truth it is not really regarded as a good school.
