So this is my first semester of post-bacc work. I currently hold a BA in political science with a "not so great" GPA. I am doing well in my Biology course, ok in my Chemistry course, but I am having extreme challenges with my Trig class. Since Trig is a pre-req for Physics; I dont have an option but to do better. As it stands now; to pull of a "c" I need to get at least an 85% on the next exam and final. The professor I currently have uses the online program "mymathlab"; which I am sure is fine for some people, but since I havent had any math since 2002 I have found it to be extremely challenging. Its strange because when I do the homework and review the notes I do just fine; I am averaging 98% on the homework/quiz portion. When I go to take the exams I seem lost and I have a hard time even understanding what answer the exam is looking for and in addition to that; since it is apart of the "mymathlab" online program; if I enter in a comma in the wrong place the whole answer is wrong. There is no room for partial credit..... blah
Any advice or support? I know pulling a "c" isnt great, but hopefully my high bio and chem grades will pull me back up. Sorry about the rambling im just disappointed in myself.😱
