Post Dec 1, does app processing speeds up?

Hi everyone, i would assume that the majority of pre-dental students applied long before December, and now that the big decision has passed, this would mean the majority (75%?) of the applications have been processed? and so now those who have applied and haven't heard will probably hear very soon?

OR

Is it now that things will slow down, because the offers have been made, and future interview invites will depend on how fast current offer holders respond to their schools? 😱
