Post-Dec interview at UCSF

I just got an email today and was schedule to interview in mid Jan. I was wondering if I'm attending one of those interviews with a very slim chance. I'm not a in-stater (Canadian). One of my forum friends told me that "they're just toying with you, don't waste your money!". I want to hear from other people who might know something about this...

go to the interview! most people they invite for interview get in. People that decline them go to their other "dream" school! You have a great chance at getting in! January is still really early. The admissions director at UCSF always comes to UCDavis to give talks about UCSF application cycle and they say that 50-70% are filled pre december and the rest is after that. GO GO GO!

Def gogogo!
You know one thing about UCSF? They do two Closed interview. If you're cool, you can get great scores on the interview.
I think they don't distinguish between out of state and international students, either.
