ok..i saw some posts said some of ds filled all pre dec interview spots
i have applied 8 ds and got 1 rejection and nothing from other ds
i applied tufts, columbia, pitt and so on. i saw those schools finished inviting pre dec interview
then i dont get anything until next yr from those schools?
does anybody know when they re-start to invite for interview?
i also applied NYU and still not getting anything from them after i got email about complete of my application...

any canaidan or canada resident got interview from NYU or BU?

probably after first round of interviews if over, which would be in december when acceptances get sent out. remember interviews continue through the spring.

DS have different ways to deal with post Dec interviews. Many schools will give out exact number of acceptances Dec 1. 100 offers for 100 places for example, knowing well that not every offer will be accepted thus justifying post Dec interviews. Some schools intentionally spread that process well into spring and offer 50% places before and after Dec 1.
Some schools tend to give out invites in batches so you might have to wait for Pitt until mid Dec for spring interviews and some like Case, MWU or Nova will send invites as they go along just for the post Dec dates. Some schools like IU will send you invite but do not give specific date as they know Dec 1 ill change plans for many.

Different rules might apply to Canadian applicants as educating Canadian dentists is not a priority to US schools

Like KitKat said, look for a Pitt interview in December, I got mine on Dec 12th (I think) last year. I got a Columbia interview not much longer after that. The other big surge happens around the second week of February, when the first round of acceptances expire (many only last 45 days).
